Chemical Peel 101

Who are chemical peels for?

Chemical peels are for everyone. Whether your skin is dry, oily, combination, or even sensitive there is a chemical peel treatment that will work for everyone.

What do peels improve?

Chemical peels are safe and effective in improving and preventing most skin conditions such as aging, acne, hyperpigmentation,
and sensitive skin/rosacea.

Why do I need a peel?

Our skin naturally exfoliates, gently shedding skin cells so subtly that most of us don't even notice. However, as we age, this process tends to slow, resulting in a dull complexion.

How do chemical peels work?

Chemical peels speed up the exfoliation process, encouraging cell turnover that leaves the skin looking fresh and healthy. The result is exfoliation after a treatment often seen in the form of peeling or flaking that lasts a couple days. Ingredients in the peel solution are also working to create new cells that function properly, not only visibly improving the skin, but correcting from within.

What are the benefits of a peel?

Chemical peels have a large number of benefits, some that can be noticed, and some that subtly occur under the surface of the skin.

  • Reduced fine lines and wrinkles
  • Controlled oil production and fewer breakouts
  • Diminished discoloration and a more even tone
  • Reduced inflammatory response
  • Increased cell turnover process
  • Overall brightened skin tone
  • Softer, smoother skin
